Returned the BJ and got another PJ. Blues Jr is more versitile "out of the box" reverb, EQ, etc. (distortion boost is horible!) But the PJ . . . Pure, raw el84 rock. Dial back the volume on guitar, cleans up enough for me. Under battle conditions, you gotta love just a vol & tone!
